Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buenher

Our class used chalk pastels for this project to show light and shadow/shading of their snowmen. We read the book "Snowmen at Night" for our inspiration. Take a look at what the snowmen of 5OF do at night while we are asleep!

Our class has been very busy this terml! 
We began with the preparation of our Art Cards for the month of December. Take a look at the artwork below!
 Following this, we learned to experiment with self-portraits interpreting the style of Henri Matisse with oil pastels. 
Our thematic Halloween project focused on symmetry in art by designing witches feet using watercolour paints.
